Now, if you hadn't noticed from my ranting, I work for a little media company that is trying to broadcast a new way. Live, real time, over the internet. Yes, you can see our news on this very computer. Yes, you can see it if you go to Europe, or to China, or to Brazil just the same as if you were a mile from our Dallas studio. And yes, we have a very low production budget compared to the big national 24/7 news channel. Their studio cost $30 million. Ours cost $300,000. We make technical errors. We look like public television. We curse and drop things and take live callers that say things we don't expect. All this being said, the big players just got a little afraid when we had OJ Simpson come in studio for four consecutive, uncensored and unedited days of interviews. The internet media, who is brushed off and overlooked most days, just stood up and crowed like Peter Pan. And though I have a lot of grin-and-bear-it moments in any given day, I'm kinda proud of this idea today, because I heard our veteran broadcaster Bob Leonard say this today:
