Opening the doors at a new shop
Some may know that I have recently moved into a new studio, and have been working with a new business entity for the past few months. I'm not going to get into the details of the story as business is a boring topic, but suffice to say I am still working with entrepreneurs, on the edge of media, and still doing video, recording, and now doing a lot more web design and development.
Before any further ado, take a gander at 4thpixel.net, a work in progress. I 'officially' launched the website friday.
Now let me get on to the peccadillos and anxieties of my brain upon this most mundane of business events.
So, I have now been attempting to author a complete post here on the 'ol blog for almost a week. I have 4 half-written posts, yet my brain seems to be tugged in so many directions at the moment that I cannot string together 300 sequential, coherent words. This I suppose is what it is like to be opening up a new business entity.
Also, take note that I may be spending some time on shameless self-promotion once in a while, as self-promotion is on the brain. I've never really gotten into it (tooting my own horn), as I was never in control of business practices and message for my business entities. Now I can issue statements that I can back up with fact. And frankly all I do is work, so I should talk about it, right?
So long story short, I am going to attempt to post regularly, and attempt to keep it interesting, but I make no promises...
